Assistance League® of Tucson serves more than 13,000 members of our community. CEP is very proud that our financial support helps them to enrich the lives of Tucsonans through programs that provide dignity and support to those in need.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Tucson has been in the forefront of youth development in Tucson for over 50 years. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Tucson currently provides affordable alternatives and after-school programming to over 9,000 youth across Tucson. CEP has made donations of educational supplies, equipment, and technology to Clubhouses. Currently we are discussing collaborative programs that will be shared by our organizations.
Youth On Their Own (YOTO) is a dropout prevention program that supports the high school graduation and continued success of youth experiencing homelessness in Pima County. Their programs have assisted over 16,000 homeless and compromised students to be empowered to stay in school and pursue opportunities for self-sufficiency. CEP's gift to YOTO's Alumni Program supports those students who need help navigating life after high school.
The Lapan Sunshine Foundation, Inc. supports organizations and individuals who seek to better themselves and the world around them including providing the primary funding for the Lapan College and Career Club for local students, Nana’s Mavins and Sunshine Therapy Animals.
Flowing Wells Community Schools creates a dynamic source of community support for Flowing Wells School District projects and programs. FWCS funds school and education related projects, specifically, mini grants for teachers to use directly in their classrooms, and scholarships for underprivileged Flowing Wells students attending college. Additionally, the foundation funds various other classroom, department, grade level, school, or district-wide projects.
"Your generous donation helped provide new clothing for students in area Title 1 schools through our Operation School Bell® program. Thanks to you, our Starting over Supplies program gave baskets of new items for the kitchen, bedroom and bath for Tucson residents who are being newly housed and have nothing. Clothing and snacks for adult and child survivors of abuse were distributed through our Assault Survivor Kits® program. Your organization has given us the opportunity to help so many deserving people in the Tucson area."
